All About Canim Lake

Minac Holiday Village is located on the north shore of Canim Lake at the mouth of Eagle Creek. This beautiful lake stretches for 37 km (about 23 miles) and sparkles with fresh, clean mountain water. An interesting comparison shows that Canim is 2 miles longer than the famous Loch Ness in Scotland but to our knowledge, we have no monsters in our lake (well, except for some of the huge lake trout lurking beneath the surface). Canim Lake does offer incredible fishing opportunities, especially in May & June.

Canim Lake also offers tremendous photo opportunites on its long and beautiful shoreline. During the spring, summer, and fall seasons many people like to rent a boat and cruise around the lake in search of those "perfect" shots.
